This is a world class museum!
Beautifully designed, you are led through the beginnings of humanity, important aspects of the African continent & famous representatives of African descent.
The 2nd floor is a ‘don’t miss!’. There are fantastic sculptures from many parts of the continent. There is an exhibit devoted to the religions in Africa & and exhibitions of modern art which is as high quality of any I have seen at the Tate Modern.
Enjoy! Definitely a top 5 in Dakar.
