We had our last---and very enjoyable---meal in Prague here prior to returning to the States. Fun atmosphere, pleasant staff and good service. The pizzas a few of us had were wonderful (I especially enjoyed my Napoli) as was the pasta and starters (the baratta was exceptional). Italian-loving Americans will feel right at home.
While it is probably pretty challenging to find in late spring and summer when all the plants and trees are greened out and there is underbrush, in the winter it is easy to find off a side trail off the paved path down from the Heights down to the Little Red Lighthouse. If you have come any distance to see this piece of Revolutionary War History be sure to visit nearby Bennet Park and the small monument/plaque to Fort Washington and cannon (and the highest point in Manhattan plaque).
Climbed over during multi-day traverse with my backpacking buddy Greg in August 1994. We arrived here coming from the S over Gothics and on to Upper Wolf Jaw to the N (on Trail 4) and then back down to Trail 9, then east to Trail 35, Armstrong is #22 of the 46.
I doubt many tourists make it over to this quiet corner of the city, which is a shame given these two intact, well-preserved ancient temples are here, as well as a piece of the Cloaca Maxima, and The Face of Truth—all within a minute’s walk of each other. This temple, in its unkempt setting of dry, brown, grass had an ethereal quality to it as well.

True, just one more set of disarticulated ruins but I did enjoy seeing these from street level—there are many sites where things have been found and left excavated but not turned formally into an accessible park. It is fascinating to see how far beneath modern Rome, Ancient Rome exists.
