Stunning, inside and out, with beautiful architecture and a rather interesting history. The grounds and castle are well maintained. Museum tour system was the most organized I’ve ever seen.

Museum housing the religious artifacts of the Salzburg cathedral, entry is part of the DomQuartier museum tour. Wonderful artistry in the building and lovely items on display.

Base of the fortress tram, tickets can be purchased here which can be used all over the fortress. Easy to get on/off the tram.

Striking tower that is a part of the fortress, can only be seen from the exterior.
