Hellabrunn Zoo
2023 Nov 11
The best zoo I've ever been to. animals are in good health and look happy despite being in captivity. They are not confined to a small place and have plenty of room to move around. Perfect place for families with children as well as solo visits.
It's a big zoo so make sure you allocate enough time for the visit. And don't forget to bring snacks!

A lovely park in Prague where you can find peace and enjoy the great views.
There are playgrounds for children there so it suits families with kids as well.
There are numerous seats throughout the park so you can enjoy sitting there and soaking up the lovely atmosphere

Oude Kerk Amsterdam

The name of the museum doesn't fit this church in my opinion.
It is the oldest building in Amsterdam,
as it was built in the 13th century. It was originally a Catholic church but became a Protestant church in the 16th century.
The church has beautiful stained glass windows and a room with red glass. There are some important paintings by Dutch masters such as Rembrandt and Bartholomeus van der Helst.
There are about 16000 people buried on the floor of the church and there are numbers dedicated to each grave.
There is an audio guide in 6 languages that narrates the history of the church and its highlights.
The normal entrance price is 13.5€.
It is worth a visit but don't expect many rooms or galleries inside.

Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana

One thing is that most of the building is related to the Museu de Correr apart from the section of the library that is in use today.
About its history itself, the Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana (Marciana Library) is a public library in Venice, Italy. It is one of the earliest surviving public libraries and repositories for manuscripts (about 13000) in Italy and holds one of the world's most significant collections of classical texts.
The library's collection includes a copy of every book published in Venice before 1603.
The library's reading room is decorated with portraits of famous scholars and writers, including Dante Alighieri, Petrarch, and Galileo Galilei.
The library's bell tower is known as the Torre dell'Orologio, and it has a clock that chimes every hour.
The library's courtyard is home to a statue of the Greek god Poseidon.

Kafka Museum
2023 Sep 09
The Franz Kafka Museum is dedicated to the life and work of the famous Czech writer. It is located in the Old Town of Prague, in a former insurance agency building that Kafka worked in for a time.
The museum has a variety of exhibits, including original manuscripts, letters, and photographs of Kafka. There are also interactive displays that explore Kafka's themes of alienation, bureaucracy, and the absurdity of modern life.
The museum's permanent exhibition is divided into three sections: Kafka's life, Kafka's work, and Kafka's legacy.
The museum shop sells a variety of Kafka-related merchandise, including books, posters, and souvenirs
The ticket price for the Franz Kafka Museum is 260 CZK (about €11) for adults, 170 CZK (about €7) for students and seniors, and free for children under 6
