Lovely gallery. I am such a fun of their free exhibits and they offer student discounts on paying exhibits. It was really chill and not very busy at all. The whole area is very spacious and relaxed.

A stunning pier located on the boardwalk around the city. This particular location attracts a lot of people and when we where visiting it was very busy with student as there was a small local beer and food festival going on. ANY PLACE HERE IS CASH ONLY !! Make sure you don’t get caught out. It is a great space where people sit, hang out, eat and take photos. Lovely in the day and the night. DO NOT SWIM !! it looks tempting but we saw someone almost get completely squashed this is a port area not a swimming area.

The Roman foundations and Columns are very well displayed and are enjoyable to walk around. A guide can also show and explain where the temple, marketplace and walls used to be that made up the centre of the Roman town. I enjoyed imagining where everything used to be. There were also pieces of stone or tiles with designs on.

A really interesting part of zadar. The solar system display is an ingenious idea that gets people out of the main city and looking off the end of the port. After sunset the ‘sun’ ( a circular solar panel embedded into the ground) lights up in beautiful displays. Very nice place to walk and also a very good meeting point for tours or to meet up if lost.

Lovely outdoor space to meet up with friends, study alone or enjoy some sun. There are some restaurants and ice cream counters but you can just as easily bring your food from elsewhere.
