The themed afternoon tea in Aqua Shard was delightful. The website photos do not do justice to the portion sizes, which I expected to be much smaller. It was delicious and significantly filling to not want to eat for the rest of the day. I recommend their mocktails. The views are obviously the main draw, and the experience is worth the costs, even if you go just the once for that special treat. Although I am planning to return.

For those of you who are just passing thru, either on a long layover or on your way to a different city, the Shard offers to hold your baggage for you if you have a reservation and they aren’t too full. My two colleagues and I were on our way to Reading but wanted to see some London sites before heading that way so we left our luggage with The Shard, came back for dinner and the. Left from there. It was fantastic and so convenient.
These were the delicious deserts we had at the end of the day and views from the Aqua restaurant. Your ears do pop when you’re traveling up the elevator.

Didn't go to the viewing platform, just the bar for a drink. Well worth doing, especially if you manage to get a table next to a window. Pretty much all the tables in the bar area give up a view of London of some sort. The cost of drinking here didn't hurt my pocket. The staff I interacted with on my visit were attentive, polite and very well manicured. Overall, I had a fab time at The Shard.
What a fab place to visit. Stunning views, London from all angles. You can go to the loo with a view. Do what you need to do whilst looking out across the Thames, it was very strange. We watched the sun go down from the Shard and it was well worth it. Watching London light up was quite a sight. Well worth a visit.
Amazing view of London. There were three floors which were all from a different perspective. Top floor was the tallest point which had a open roof with fake grass. Second floor had tables, chairs and a bar. And the third floor was the lowest point of where you could go. It was really a great experience. I would recommend to book tickets in advance. It wasn't overcrowded and we didn't have to queue outside the main entrance. We didn't buy any refreshments or food but we spent some money in the gift shop.
Great experience, enjoyable journey meeting staff and going up through various lifts. The whole environment has s well decorated and very welcoming. The panoramic view is breathtaking and I went at sunset sun got some fantastic photos and videos. Refreshments, accessibility and toilets all on hand with a very tasteful gift shop that even has you in a photo. Highly recommended.
This was a really great place to visit. Even on a cloudy day the views are fantastic. Plus if the weather is poor, you get a voucher for a free revisit by the end of the year.
The place is well staffed, as are the bars, and the guides are friendly and well informed.
The lifts up and down are really fast, which in itself is part of the experience.

The Shard is a very popular building within 500meters of the Tower Bridge. If you want a great view from the top of London, this is the place to go. I recommend buying tickets in advance (in my case the London pass) and also book a time slot if it’s not included in your ticket. On Mondays and Tuesdays it’s not too crowded and you can enjoy some free spaces on the windows. I you really want to enjoy the view on your own, just go to the toilet.
