We reached this airconditional restaurant on the weekend at about 6:30pm. No reservation was needed. 80% of the tables were occupied. Table service for ordering and serving within 10 minutes upon ordering.
Nasi lemak was with fish, 2 large prawns, peanuts, anchovies, crackers, egg, and cucumber. RM28 per serving and big portion. Taste wise, it was mediocre. 2 stars
Nyonya laksa lemak was poorly done. Curry was below par. RM28 per serving was overpriced in light of fewer ingredients. 1 star
Cucur udang prawns fritters were slightly above average. It tasted similar to 30 years ago Indian stall selling kuih, talam, laksa, and cucur udang. RM20 per serving. But, I don't like its sauce as it was satay sauce and not the authentic Indian chilli sauce 30 years ago. 3 stars
Orange juice at RM17 per serving was mediocre. 2 stars
The total bill for 2 persons' dinner at RM93 was reasonable.

bumped into this cafe on google maps and decided to give it a try. food was not bad, love the presentation of the food. very unique and traditional in a way. but the interior is what im interested in. apparently all the artworks on the walls are made by the owner itself!!! so impressive
a hidden restaurant in an alley. Food was excellent and well seasoned. We ordered 5 different dishes and they all tasted great, especially the rice with fish/ beef and the weekly special stir fried noodles (can't remember the names). Definitely coming back.
All of the dishes are really good! Nyonya Laksa would be my fav, high recommended for those who like lemak laksa!

My friend brought me to visit this little nice cafe. I was amazed by the design, and old baba nyonya vibe. Really calm and gave me a perfect vibe of vacation in the island.
The foods was nice and tip top services.

Giving a backyard vibe, it's a relaxing place to spend early mornings. However, there aren't a lot of breakfast meals available - about 4 or 5 options in their menu. Also, because it's CNY, they were playing what sounded like CNY songs which negatively affected the whole vibe.
77, Muntri St, 10200 George Town, Penang, Malaysia. Visited again on 24032024 and we ordered cucur udang and roti baba. Super delicious food. Very cosy and relax environment with air conditioning to chose from. Friendly and attentive staff always keep your table clean. Visited on 12.11.2023.
