We set off for the Clock Tower first thing and after a short wait, went up (~100 m). The view provided a terrific perspective of Venice - its red terracotta rooftop tiles, and the various islands to the south and east.
A captivating landmark in Venice. Located in Piazza San Marco, this Renaissance masterpiece dates back to the late 15th century. The tower's stunning blue and gold clock face features zodiac signs and phases of the moon. It's a marvel of both art and engineering, with its intricate mechanisms still functioning today. The two bronze Moors striking the bell at the top are a fascinating sight. A guided tour inside offers a closer look at the clock's workings and panoramic views of the piazza. The tower's rich history and unique design make it a must-visit attraction in Venice.

Did the tour and it was absolutely not worth it. Spent the 45 minutes discussing the history and vaguely discussing the mechanism of the clock tower while looking at pictures of the clock tower and its inner workings. Would have been so much better if they explained the clock tower using the actual clock tower itself and timed the tour so we were there on the top of the hour to see the bell being struck. The only highlight was the view from the top, but you could easily go across the square to the Campanile to get a better view.
The clock tower, situated in the heart of Venice within one of the main palazzos, is a sight to behold, especially alongside St. Mark's Basilica. It's an area well worth exploring.
We did our tour on 15 Dec. Our guide, Aurora, is simply amazing! We can tell that she is very passionate with her job and she shared beyond what is required. She also made the tour more interesting by cracking interesting fun facts! Unfortunately, we forget to get her contact so we can stay in touch! We wish she would see this message and reach out if she would like to stay in touch! We would definitely recommend the tour with her anytime!

Very nice clock tower, located in the heart of Venice in one of the main palazzos. Right beside the St. Marks Basílica. It’s definitely an area worth checking out. I would definitely recommend taking a visit.
