What an incredible experience we had! I had no idea where I was going or what to expect as it was a surprise. I was honestly left speechless.
I enjoyed spending 1.5 hours cuddling a rabbit, two turtles, a chameleon, a guinea pin...definitely not the snake. That's still a big no no for me lol.
What I liked about the zoo café is that the most important thing is to respect the animals and their freedom, hence why there are some basic rules to follow which was absolutely fine.
A big thank you to the staff that made the experience so enjoyable!
Also, the drinks and the food were really good. We had a hot chocolate (I had the pink one) and a slice of the dobos cake (so yummy!) Which we had to protect from the naughty parrot that kept trying to steal pieces of cakes!
The cafe was definitely a wonderful surprise I will never ever forget!

That was so fun experience, on of the best highlights of the trip. The stuff was so nice, especially the guy who was bringing animals to customers. He was so good with them, you can feel that they take good care of them. Also cake was delicious 🤤 Highly recommending!

I'm an animal lover (and have kept most of the animals on show!) and it was SO good to see the animals well-kept, calm, and not stressed out. The staff are so informative and welcoming and they take the time to explain how to handle each animal.
Highly reccomend it but come with respect to these lovely animals.

The cafe is very well run in terms of getting time with the animals. The staff were nice and handled the animals well. After we left we both said we weren't sure what quality of life the animals have in terms of space to live. It would be like a pet shop where they have tanks/enclosures and take them out to bring around to people. Overall a good experience.

But, the second time we did a reservation with about one week before
Kids loved the cats, the turtles, the bunny, the chameleon, but also the little piton 🐍.
For me, what I loved the most was the way it was scheduled time that we where there.
First we ordered the drinks, then we received one animal for 10 minutes, than it was replaced with another animal… like this till the end. In the last 15 minutes you can take a tour in the cafe and see the rest of the animals

A MUST visit place during your stay in Budapest! The experience is one of a kind and the animals are amazing. The staff is very kind and explains how to handle the animals gently. However, I don’t recommend eating there just because the food is not worth it. Our drinks were good. Overall 10/10 experience!

The staff generally take very good care of the animals. We had the opportunity to see different animals, while 5 types of animals were with us at the table during our hour and half reservation. About every 10 minutes we got a different animal. In the last 15 minutes you have the opportunity to view the entire cafe. I recommend making a reservation in advance, there is a lot of interest in this place, which I completely understand after my experience. The only thing I would change is the reservation system. Nowadays, it could be a little more modern - faster and more practical.

Very interested experience to have an animal on your table to pet. There is nothing special regarding food and drinks. Interacting with animals is the main attraction of this place. It was a nice experience. Would recommend it if you are in Budapest. It is always busy, I recommend reserving a table a week prior to your estimated visit.
