The history is steeped in history and at the same time you can see the efforts to modernise it and turn it into something that is the beating heart of Warsaw. The viewing terrace at the top is great and puts the city into perspective. The only issue for me is that they have a souvenir coin machine at the top that only accepts zloty coins not notes but there is no change machine and the restaurant, shop or security guard refused to change a note for a coin. It’s frustrating for people like me who want this souvenir.
