I took a hazelnut patisserie. The creme was oxydized and the cake was dry inside. It was simply not fresh. A shame for such a high price. It only looks good, but the taste isn't. Don't get trapped.
The ambiance of the tea shop is elegant and tranquil, a perfect escape from the bustling mall. The service was attentive, and the coffee was rich and aromatic, served at the ideal temperature.
Very rude manager. I bought a 540 bath worth of macaroon for my daughter for take away and decided to sit down shortly after paying to wait for my husband, but the manager was rudely asking me and the kids to leave the restaurant because i was not buying it for dining in and he said the problem is because of the service and charge fee is not charged when it's a take away. ( wow it is the tips problem obviously) I think he just need more education on delivering the message to the customer. Especially coming from a hospitality industry. This is considered very very rude. Very dissapointing, mandarin oriental!!!! You nèed to retraining your staff to be more professional.(clue : it is the short guy with glasses and the black suits- looking professional but very low class manner and service inside)

Of course, it's an aesthetically pleasing place. The food is tasty (Caesar salad and sandwiches), excellent tea TWG and the desserts are good too. However, I get acne after dining here, even though I eat very little with tea. The desserts are beautiful, but some are moderately sweet, while many are overly cloying. There's a lot of sugar, which is harmful. The desserts look nice and appetizing, but it's unclear what ingredients they're made of if they cause acne.

We were hoping to have afternoon tea but the sandwiches on offer for the high tea were all fish based. So we ordered off the menu. It was only just after 2pm but many of the items were not available.
The food we ended up with were not our first choice and were a little disappointing.

It was a very much delightful afternoon for a tea and coffee, paired with some sweets. Would I say it was worth it? Nope totally not. But this type of place caters to certain types of people who wanted the luxury and exclusivity. I would prefer the other cafe or restaurant around the area that provides more food and drinks that are totally exceptional and different. I would say they are overpriced on their pastries and drinks.
Best Macaron in town! Excellent bakery and service at five stars hotel courties. Take away available.
High end tea and cake store with prices to match. Had some excellent macarons on the go. Well made and decent quality. The shells had a nice crisp and were soft on the inside. The cream filling was not too sweat and conveyed the flavours well.
