You just can’t give them fewer stars. They have everything in that airport, from Gucci to Rolex, from Mcdonalds to Italian gellati. One of my favorite food spots is Poke house, where ger a nice bowl. Was a long stay, but pretty comfortable. Clean and tidy in most areas. One of cons in arrivals was hard to find person who speaks in english and gives directions to city. Overall five stars!
Absolutely abysmal service all around. Upon arrival 1 1/2 hours before our flight we found that the check in areas for our flight was closed so we could not drop off our bags. We were already checked in but the staff would not allow us to go through to leave our bags at checkin area 24. Staff told us they could do nothing and even laughed when we arrived, and that we would need to call our airlines. The airline on the other hand sounded furious that we couldn’t drop off our bags. We wound up needing to book a hotel for a flight the next day, but we are now at checkin 3 hours early and the gate is STILL closed with a line of people here and staff just wandering around looking confused. Finally after making it in, the interior doors were closed (while the exit doors looked broken) and we had to force them open. The staff then acted suspicious asking why we “changed our flight” and after explaining that they wouldn’t allow us in the day before they quickly rushed us forward. This was an unacceptably terrible experience and I’d be happy to never come to Milan again.
Terminal 2 Arrivals was very efficient and clean.
To get to Terminal 1, exit and building and find the bus stop opposite the Arrival building. Just follow the sign for "Airport Bus".
To get to Milan Central, there are a number of bus stops right outside the building.
There is also a train station. But check your ticket as both T1 and T2 have a train station which are different.
Tax refund desks at T1 departures are near Area 13. Get the Global Blue refund form completed at the shops, then just scan the form using the machine at the airport. It's very convenient.

Very smooth going through the custom. A little messy at the luggage conveyor belt. They’ve put two long haul flight together and the detector stop dropping in new bags until the later flight’s passenger collected their bags.
Nice, clean and a spacious airport. Ample arrangements for waiting. It is a shopping paradise for luxury items. Check in, security and passport control were very seamless. Overall very nice experience. The only drawback was unavailability of cafe and restaurant in the vicinity of waiting area for boarding.
Maine airport for Milano. We were here in September and everything was smoothly coming in and going out. Catching an early flight in the morning we also have time to go to the second level and grab something to eat before going through security.
The airport is well connected to the city with trains. On the return day there was a strike and trains were not running. There are a couple of bus companies that run from near the train station to the airport. keep in mind that it is recommended to book tickets in advance for these.

Milan Malpensa Airport exceeded my expectations with its efficient and modern facilities. The spacious and well-maintained terminals, coupled with friendly and helpful staff, made my travel experience seamless. The diverse dining and shopping options provided a pleasant way to pass the time, and the airport's cleanliness added to the overall positive atmosphere. Convenient transportation links to the city center further enhanced the convenience of using Milan Malpensa. I left with a favorable impression and would recommend it to fellow travelers.
About a good airport, but much is missing to make it notable. In the waiting area for boarding, there is no bar to purchase anything unless you have planned to buy something from the duty-free. The machines in the lounge were not working. The positive aspect was that the ladies at the counters were very helpful.
