This is a great museum and I had bought Budapest Card which allowed me free access to certain museums and also note that the card
Is beneficial if you plan to use multiple museums although museum tickets as such are economically priced

The Museum of Fine Arts (Szépművészeti Múzeum) is a museum that I believe should be visited for its architecture, which enhances Heroes' Square (Hősök tere). While I don't find the permanent exhibitions' artworks particularly noteworthy, they almost always host temporary exhibitions that are worth seeing. Despite not finding the content of the permanent exhibitions remarkable, I think they excel in curation and museum management. Their good curation, combined with the architectural beauty of the building, ensures that visitors have a wonderful time.
