The New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx is an absolute five-star treasure, especially during their orchid exhibit. Walking through those lush, colorful displays of orchids is like stepping into a floral wonderland.

The garden itself is a serene oasis in the heart of the bustling city, providing a perfect escape into nature. It's not just a garden; it's a living museum, a place where art and science collide beautifully.

The orchid exhibit, in particular, is a breathtaking experience. The sheer variety and vibrant colors of these delicate blooms are nothing short of awe-inspiring. Whether you're a seasoned botanist or just someone who appreciates the beauty of flowers, it's an enchanting journey.

But it's not just about pretty flowers; it's also about education and conservation. The New York Botanical Garden is at the forefront of research and preservation efforts, making it an essential institution for the planet's well-being.

So, whether you're a nature enthusiast, a couple looking for a romantic date, or a family with curious kids, this place has something for everyone. It's a sanctuary of beauty, knowledge, and tranquility right in the heart of the Bronx. Five stars for this incredible botanical gem and its captivating orchid exhibit!

Such a beautiful oasis. Definitely worth walking the grounds here and paying extra to see the Haupt Conservatory greenhouse. Inside are so many different kinds of plants, trees, cacti, etc.
For food/drinks, Pine Tree Cafe had good food options and lattes for a decent price. Hudson Garden Grill is more for a fancier (and pricier) experience if you are looking for that.

This is one of the most massive botanical gardens we have ever visited. Our approach was to go through the greenhouse first, then the library building, and finally the tram ride. There are stops along the tram ride, but we were running out of time. You should plan to spend at least 2-5 hours there to properly see the gardens. There is plenty to see on multiple trips and at different times of the year.

Great place to visit with gorgeous flowers and trees. Easy to walk around and they also have a tram that will take you to key locations within the garden while telling you about the history of the place. Staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Buildings are well maintained. Worth the trek up to the Bronx to enjoy the plant life and serenity.
