Food was very tasty particularly margarita pizza (5/5), stuffed chicken with spinach (5/5), Thai Green Curry is available in three options (vegetable, chicken and prawn) with rice, I tried chicken it is (4/5) but rice quantity is too low. Lastly the parmesan chicken panini.

We visited Yum By Amna Cafe and got a table near kitchen / washroom. While waiting for food, a lady created a scene at washroom because of cleanliness issues. Apparently, the staff failed to satisfy her with a clean washroom and she created ruckus for quite some time.
While having our food, there was constant loud noise from the kitchen. It was very awkward; as if the staff was fighting. Very very unusual. I had to ask waiters at least twice if their staff was fighting in the kitchen.
Food taste was just average; nothing to make us visit again. Service was also just ok. Our expectations were very high; but the experience turned out to be otherwise.
On card, they charged 8% tax plus gave us a 25% discount. Price-wise it was ok, but that loud noise from kitchen was a major turn off. Plus, they need to improve their food taste.

Thought of trying something new for breakfast this morning. On some strong recommendation came to Yum By Amna, my first visit here. Anyways after a bit of shuffling around a bit because some of the the AC weren't working the staff was extra supportive in finding our family the coolest spot to settle. The ambience was cosy with all the interesting artistic culinary Artifacts around, Kept us engaged while we waiting for our order. We ordered Thai chicken sandwich and a beef roast sandwich, and from kids menu Alfredo. All were done and presented very well. I enjoyed every bit of my Thai chicken sandwich, I requested for a multigrain bread instead of Chibata, and they have graciously made that change. With my tons of dietary needs I often request restaurants to make adjustments and love the eateries that does it. Beside the iced Americano their watermelon lemonade was so good refreshing and just the right thing for a hot summer mid morning. Over all we love the ambience, service and menu. It's a keeper and will be going back again
I had an ordinary experience at Yum by Amna on the second day of Eid. The place was jam-packed, with a 30-45 minute wait.
Starting with the food, we ordered mushroom soup (8.5/10), which tasted very good. However, the accompanying bread was super thin and fell a little short of complementing the soup due to its inadequate quantity.
For the main course, we ordered Parmesan Chicken with French fries (9/10). While the consistency of the sauce and the crispiness of the chicken were not as perfect as they could have been, it was still quite good.
We also ordered the Chicken Parmesan Panini (7/10), which fell short of expectations and tasted just okay.
The highlight of the meal was the hazelnut frappe (10/10). It was one of the best I have had recently, although the glass that was brought to the table was smaller than the one pictured on the menu.
The worst part was the ambiance. They have two split AC units in the basement, which proved to be inadequate to provide a cool environment in the intense heat. The tables are very close to each other, making it very noisy, especially when there are children around. The owner should consider moving to a bigger space, as the current location is being overutilized beyond its designed capacity.
The FABL 50% off on Tuesdays made it quite pocket-friendly and somewhat compensated for the shortcomings.
