Beautiful old town, nicely preserved. Great view to all directions. Probably more restaurants and shops than residents. Free parking under the bridge.

A must visit place to enjoy the unique experience of being in a historical town taken over by nature yet reclaimed by tourism. We spent a night at one of the Airbnb and explored the town.
There is a parking option close to the bridge to Civita Di Banagrio and it's a 5/10 min walk to the bridge. You buy tickets to cross the bridge and explore the town.
A historical church, a museum, a geology center, restaurants. cafes and the old town. It's amazing for a one night stay or one day exploration.
The Etruscan tunnels access is closed for safety reasons but there are other things to explore.
Try a one night stay and experience peace with history.

Mooie mini dorp van 11 inwoners. Was niet makkelijk met koets er boven geraken. Was wel moeite waard om te bezoeken.

Prachtig stadje op een heuvel die langzaam afbrokkelt. Over de brug erheen is even zweten maar zeer zeker de moeite waard om te bezoeken. Prachtig. Ik zou wel op tijd gaan want tegen de middag word het aardig druk.
Het stadje is prachtig onderhouden en overal staan prachtige bloemen en planten. Er zijn ook een paar leuke restaurantjes.

Typisch italiaans stadje boven op een heuvel, alleen........het stadje staat op instorten, omdat het op pufsteen gebouwd is.
Via een steil oplopende brug kom je via een poort in het toeristische stadje.
