We enjoyed the water bus from Rotterdam to Kinderdijk to visit the windmills. Their schedule is very accurate and tickets are easy to purchase onboard. We took the trip to visit the Kinderdijk windmills and actually had some trouble locating this information online before we arrived. So, it’s worth mentioning that if you plan to visit Kinderdijk to see the windmills, you do not need to pay any entry fee unless you plan to visit the museums onsite and use their tour boats and any other service,they provide. If you just want to walk the dyke pathway and to see the old windmills and take some photos, you do will not need to pay any extra.

Great service at a more than fair price! Really easy way to go Kinderdijk. Would have been 5 start but the boat was not in great condition and had a leak in the roof.

Very easy boat service between Rotterdam and Dordrecht. Several stops in between. Check in with your bankcard or purchase tickets online. You can sit in or outside. Bikes are welcome too!

Thursday we took the waterbus (pink line 21) to see the windmills. First off, such a convenient option to get to the windmills. Secondly Yohan was absolutely incredible!! He went out of his way to look after the passengers and interact with us in a meaningful way. He is truly a gem in this industry and I only wish I had a way to send him a tip. Hopefully someone will read this review and recognize Yohan with the appreciation he deserves, such a great experience.

Waterbus no. 20 from Rotterdam to Dordrecht. As of January 2022 we need to swipe the public transport card/tickets at the entrance of the jetty and not on board the boat
