Try the octopus 🐙 the corn soup with squash blossom and the ribeye cooked in bone marrow... just incredible.

Had our first meal here. So good! The chicken in the black mole is so soft and moist. It seems like they were poached rather than roasted. The tuna ceviche was also amazing!
Simply one of the best restaurants I've been to in Mexico and even the US quite frankly. The food is home cooked traditional style, the baked goods were excellent. You can sense the pride of ownership and if you go on their website, you can read more in detail about this restaurant. Pricing that can accommodate most budgets. As someone else, if I only had one restaurant choice, this would be it.
Very nice upscale restaurant near the Zocalo in Centro Historico. Had the Pollo con Mole, it was delicious. Went great with their small selection of Mexican craft beers. The chocolate cake was great! Definitely a must try if you are in Mexico City.
Where local families come for weekend traditional Mexican brunch. Take note: the dishes are simple but highlight uniquely delicious Mexican recipes from Mexico City developed at home decades ago using traditional techniques and ingredients.

My favorite restaurant for lunch so far. Very affordable and delicious food! Service was amazing as well. I highly recommend the zucchini flower soup with mushrooms. The waiter recommended it and it was so worth it!
I enjoyed my mushroom omelette and hot chocolate. Also got a pressed cucumber juice that was very refreshing.
We only had to wait about 20 min for a table which was fine. The hot chocolate was good but besides the coolness factor of it being poured out fresh, I enjoyed it but not a must.
A tip: If you are sensitive to spicy, I wouldn’t order anything that has even a little bit of spice (they mark it on the menu). My omelette didn’t have a marking next to it and the tomato sauce had some heat ( it was very good).

If I only had one meal in Mexico City it would be here. An absolutely legendary place. Great food, service and atmosphere.
We had an excellent brunch. I had the steak with tortilla chips simmered in half green and red chili sauce accompanied by superb refried beans.
Packed with Mexicans and smattering of tourists.
It took a 30 minute wait to get a table at 11am on a Tuesday so booking in advance would be advisable.
