The hotel has advertisements for "kids eat free" at the on-site restaurant. There was a misunderstanding and the special kids menu wasn't offered to us. However, after speaking with the manager, the situation was corrected. The staff at reception, the restaurant, and housekeeping are all friendly.
We've stayed five days and only one of the two elevators is operational, and the "working" elevator has a malfunctioning "G" button so that sometimes you get stuck on an upper level and can't get to the ground level. At other times the elevator takes you on an impromptu trip up to a different level before returning to ground.

Very impressive, your staff are excellent and this gives the best impression. Thanks very much it was recommended buy a friend on my way to Mt Hagen and I am very happy to be here again on my return trip.
I am one of the long stays at Holiday Inn Suites since Feb 2023 and i love being spoilt by the staff, cleaners and Managers. They never fail to make you feel special anywhere, be it at the breakfast area or at the reception or at our bi-weekly drinks and canapes at the Geeko Bar. Holiday Inn certainly goes above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and exceptional.
The rooms are always nice and neat tidy and clean, and the beds are very comfortable, and you can always request extra pillows.
Rooms are big, swimming pool, gym are just perfect for relaxing. Very nice meal are served by friendly staff at the restaurant.
Such a wonderful place to stay in.

I've been living full-time at the Holiday Inn Suites in Waigani since April 2022. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and when there are maintenance issues, they are resolved at the first realistic opportunity. The guarding and physical security in the suites meets my expectations for the local security context. The Suites Operations Manager, Ruth Mantra, is always so helpful and goes out of her way to ensure customer's needs are met.
great hotel, worthy of 4 stars. first, i waited for 40 minutes for the shuttle bus at the airport, and then spent another 30 minutes checking in at the front desk. then i was assigned to a room without air conditioning, then changed to a room without hot water for showering, and finally waited for another 1 hour, i finally changed to a room with hot water but a broken shower head at 22:10. I was tired, so I slept soundly.
